چکیده

C C bstract he purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical utcome differences of root canal obturation by warm utta-percha (GP) or cold lateral condensation (CLC) hrough a systematic review and meta-analysis. There ere 10 clinical studies evaluated. Postoperative pain, ong-term outcomes, obturation quality, and overextenion were the characteristics investigated. The results uggest that the two obturation techniques are not ignificantly different except in overextention. The reltive risk (RR) value of warm GP versus CLC and 95% onfidence interval (CI) of the first three criteria were .10 (0.71, 1.71), 0.78 (0.58, 1.05), and 1.31 (0.98, .76), respectively. Overextension was more likely to ccur in the warm GP obturation group in comparison ith the CLC group. The RR value and 95% CI were .98 (1.33, 2.93). In conclusion, warm GP obturation emonstrated a higher rate of overextension than CLC. ostoperative pain prevalence, long-term outcomes, nd obturation quality were similar between the two roups. Outcome of root canal obturation by warm gutta-percha versus cold lateral condensation: a meta-analysis.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical outcome differences of root canal obturation by warm gutta-percha (GP) or cold lateral condensation (CLC) through a systematic review and meta-analysis. There were 10 clinical studies evaluated. Postoperative pain, long-term outcomes, obturation quality, and overextension were the characteristics investigated. The results suggest that the two o...

Comparison of vertical forces during root canal filling with three different obturation techniques.

The aim of this study was to examine and compare vertical forces exerted during root canal obturation with the cold lateral condensation technique, Thermafil technique and ProTaper guttapercha. Fourty-five single-rooted permanent teeth were used in the study. All specimens were instrumented using the ProTaper rotating technique and were randomly divided into three experimental groups (n = 15 pe...
